About Me

brian&jenniWelcome to my chaotic world.  Sometimes, it’s chaotic because of life circumstances… but usually it’s chaotic because I am a creator of CHAOS.  I guess I find it more interesting that way.

My Life: I love my God, I love my husband, Brian, and I love my 2 sons (Chance & Paxton).  I’m a sinner.  I cheated on my husband in 2006 and found myself drifting treading water in a sea of lies, but I’m learning about true redemption and am now clutching onto the life-raft that is Jesus.  I’m finding my way home.

My Profession: First and foremost, I am the CEO of my home.  I make sure everyone’s loved up, fed up and clothed up.  My other job?  I’m the Worship Pastor at Church at Bethany, a local church plant here in Portland, Oregon.

My Blog: I write about anything and everything that’s on my heart.  Sometimes I’m serious, sometimes I’m not.  I’ve offended many but have rarely found myself offended.  I’m not a candy-coater and I’m not a truth-fluffer… not anymore, at least.  I’ve been to the darkest of places and don’t ever want to return there.  I have been redeemed by the Most Holy, so “fluff” is not something I’m capable of.

All that to say this:  The writings on this blog are not a reflection of Church at Bethany in any way, though I hope they are close.  There’s my disclaimer.
