Our good friends, Justin and Trisha Davis, have finally written their story into a book, Beyond Ordinary.
Justin & Trisha made me laugh, cry, feel angry and ashamed with the brutal honesty of their words. It’s profound how similar all our marriages are and how NOT ALONE you are if you just let yourself be honest with others. If you’d like, you can watch the Beyond Ordinary book promo HERE.
Brian and I had the privilege of recording a Skype interview with them about the heart and behind the scenes of how this all came about. So, instead of reading what I have to say… watch it below. In the video, you’ll hear how we all met, see us be obnoxious (what’s new), hear our favorite parts of Beyond Ordinary, hear Indy (the Davises gigantic dog) bark, and see Justin cry. It’s a beautiful mess.
We also are giving away TWO free copies… but you gotta tune into this video to find out how to get it.
Beyond Ordinary is now available in bookstores near you. But if you’re like me and don’t like shopping in stores… just click HERE and buy it online.
OR… if you win a free copy from your entry here… you can just buy one for each of your friends. So… comment away!

I heard part of a interview with these folks earlier. How true. I wish I and my ex wife would have had the courage and open hearts to try to fix our marriage. If your marriage has become ordinary PLEASE stop and do the work to fix it. You can not imagine the carnage a divorce leaves. Christians are not exempt to this.
True, Jeff. It takes a lot of work to restore a marriage. It takes a lot of work to leave a marriage too. It takes work whichever way.
Loved the interview I can see why God wanted Justin and Trisha to write this book they are both so humble. I’m reading the book off my kindle not as good as the book book but enjoying it. It’s funny who God brings into people’s lives. I have gotten to know Cindy Beall off her blog and you were in her book and I just watched a crazy video of you and Crystal. She is coaching me right now on her book Dirty Girls Come Clean. It’s like God’s tied us all together. I just wanted to send you a note to encourage you and your husband. It’s an amazing ministry to be attached to so many awesome people.
Blessings Sarah

2. Because I have lived a similar story (2008) and am working daily to seek guidance from those whom also walked the road and survived. Lucky to have befriended all of you via Twitter and the impact that alone has been on me is something I could never repay.

Hi! My name is Tammy,
I will be getting married in June and am trying to prepare and learn as much as I can to be a good wife. This will be my third marriage . . . I am not proud of that fact, but I am trusting God that this will be forever. I want to do my part in keeping that true.
My favorite ice cream is Drumstick (with parts of the ice cream cone in it)
Hey it’s Wendy! We just got the book in the other day and are loving it! We were given the first couple of chapters back in Sept. when we went to one of their Refine Us conferences in San Marcos. I couldn’t wait to be able to read the rest! One of the things I love the most that one of yall said in the video is being able to see in y’alls story that there is hope. We have been so blessed to have found Cindy’s book, Justin and Trisha and you and Brian. God has used all of you so much in helping with the healing of our marriage. We loved having you and Brian for our coaches! I thank all of you so much for being so open, honest and sharing your story!!! God can and will save, heal and make better than new any marriage if we only allow Him too!!! Oh and I don’t like ice cream
