Brian received this fun little toy from Jay McKenney. Chance has decided to claim it as his own.

Thanks, Jay, for how much this song plays in my head. Even when I don’t hear it in my ears, I hear it in my head.

This was Chance’s first walk to Starbucks. Not his first TRIP to Starbucks (we all know who his Mom is) but this is the first time he got out and walked a good portion of the trip.
Brian’s video taping. I was with my mom and sisters (Helen & Renee). It was a long walk… but don’t worry, I edited it down to just the cute and funny parts.
Checkity-check it!
… But it’s nice and cozy inside. I LOVE stormy nights… except that our Dish Network keeps faltering and tonight is the big night… ONE HOUR OF THE OFFICE!!! This CANNOT fail on me. I will melt into a devastating mess on my kitchen floor.
Ok… I’m over it now.
So… today was pretty fun. I’ve been working on some Christmas presents on Shutterfly. It takes forever just to upload pictures. I finally got that done (I started last week) and got to the good stuff today… inserting PICTURES. Yay! I’m hoping to get them done tonight before my TV binging begins (Grey’s Anatomy is after The Office… I’m totally hyperventilating right now).
Brian came home early, so I ran to the church to pick up some goodies and drop off some goodies. While I was there, I helped Matt tidy up Jay’s office a bit. Really… I just helped.
When I got home, I started dinner. We had Eggplant Spaghetti. I absolutely LOVE eggplant and it’s better than eating red meat all the time (we had Tacos last night).
We snapped this picture of Chance totally chowing down. He OBVIOUSLY loves Eggplant too. I had heaped a bunch onto his tray… and as you can see… most of it is gone.
After dinner, Brian took Chance to his bathtime while I cleaned up. I noticed some REALLY brown and overly ripe bananas in my fruit bowl, so I decided to make some banana bread. It’s in the oven as I type.
By the time I popped two loaves in the oven, Chance was out of the bath and running around being cute with his gigantic teddy bear from Carrie. I took some pictures to share.
Chance is so cute, I can BEAR-ly stand it. Get it? HAHAHAHA!!! Okay… so it’s not that funny. Whatev! There’s a storm outside… and the Seahawks are playing in it. CRAZY!!!
I gotta go downstairs now to check on my banana bread and get situated for The Office. It’s probably better to hunker down in the lower level of the house in this storm anyway. Yowzas!!!
Brian, Chance and I (and Phoenix & Scoobie) will be headed out to La Grande for Thanksgiving as we do every year, so if you don’t see a blog for a few days, that’s why.
But… while I have internet… I thought I’d post up some video of the things I let Chance do on a regular day.
Now, Matt… just because Chance doesn’t know the difference between high end cigars and Swisher Sweets yet doesn’t mean he won’t one day.
I hope you ALL have a great Thanksgiving.
