Booty Slide

Yeah… it’s the “Booty Slide”.

And just for fun (and for my Dad & Helen who haven’t seen Paxton yet).  He’s smiling and laughing now:

Paxton has officially outgrown ALL his newborn clothes, putting him in 3-6 month outfits now.

It’s very apparent to me how much better a camera we have now than when Chance was born.  Ahh.. technology.  How I love thee!

Oh… I LOVE babies.

And since I’m posting pictures… here are a few from yesterday.  

Chance went over to play with the Whitacre’s and was exhausted at the end of the day.  He passed out on the couch… which NEVER happens… so we messed with him a bit :)

First Smile

Paxton’s first smile was about a month ago… but I think it may have been gas induced.

Now, I can make him smile.  Not laugh yet, but I can get him to smile and coo at me.  It’s the best!!!

Similar but DEFINITELY Different

I got a few comments about Chance & Paxton not looking anything alike at all.

You’re right.  And there’s a good reason for it.  They’re not the same person :)

Paxton Joel is TWO Months Old

Paxton and I went to his 2 month check up on Thursday.

2 months

I can’t believe how fast 2 months has already gone by.  *sigh*

Here are the stats:

  • Weight:  10.0 lbs  (13%)
  • Height:  23.5 inches  (71%)
  • Head Circ:  38.5 cm  (19%)

We’ve got a small one on our hands… though he’s tall.

Chance’s stats at his two month appt:

  • Weight:  12.9 lbs  (75%)
  • Height:  24 inches  (90%)
  • Head Circ:  42 cm  (+95%)  in other words… off the chart.

My kids are night and day.  Well… their temperament is actually very similar.  They’re both pretty lax.

Nice for me.
