Last night, Chance woke up from a nightmare. It may have been his first.
He YELPED.
We went in to check on him and he was standing up in his crib. Apparently, he dreamt there were “buggies” in his crib so he didn’t want to go back in.
Brian prayed with Chance. He prayed that Jesus would protect Chance in the night from buggies and that he would fall back to sleep.
Finally, after 15 minutes of whimpering, Chance willingly went back into his crib and fell asleep… with his feet in the air. I guess he was mostly worried about the buggies getting his feet.
Uh… weird.
ANYHOO… this morning… during breakfast, I asked Chance, “Did you sleep well last night?”
His answer:
“Yes… Jesus killed the buggies.”
I looked for that in scripture all day today… couldn’t find it.
AW MAN! That is SWEET!! I wish there were video of that.

So precious! I found a spider crawling near Evelyn’s crib last night… I prayed against buggies too! And,like Jesus… I DID stomp him like a serpent!
The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.
