Today has been an “ugh” kind of a day.
My family life is good. My marriage is GREAT. My friends are checking in… however…
I FEEL:
- forgotten
- unworthy
- attacked
- unwanted
- abandoned
However… no matter how I feel… I STILL know the TRUTH.
I AM:
- CHOSEN
- WORTHY
- FORGIVEN
- LOVED
- RESTORED
I guess it doesn’t matter how I feel… because the TRUTH card trumps the FEELINGS card, huh?

Feelings, much as I love them, are still vulnerable to attack.
I will never get Joyce Meyer’s voice out of my head, reminding me that “feelings lie”.
So yes, truth trumps feelings, and choosing truth over feelings is always the best option.
It can just be really painful. Especially for satan when you give him some ninja action to the face with the truth that he wasn’t expecting
well… i AM a ninja. i should have added that to the “truth” list, huh?
I should answer the question too huh.
I’m feeling a little annoyed at lots of things – little niggly things – about work, church, “the future”
The truth is all of those things are at the foot of the Cross – where I put them, so I should stop trying to take them back, cos Jesus has surely got my back.
