My boys are growing up… a little too fast, actually.
I took this photo of Paxton yesterday:
Here’s Chance in the same outfit just a few years ago:
I think Chance is a bit younger here… maybe 3 months. It’s crazy… I remember putting Chance in this outfit and placing him in this seat to take his photo. And now… he’s speaking whole sentences to me and negotiating his bedtime.
I LOVE being their Mom. My boys are so sweet.
These two boys love each other. It’s so awesome.
Okay… YOUR TURN.

I love my sisters dearly. I’m the middle child and only boy. We had so much fun together, but three main things stick out in my ye olde mind. Suprisingly, they’re all about music :
1. singing songs into a desk fan, creating a wonderful 3 part harmony with hyper-vibrato
2. making up songs together by playing those “I’ll do a line, you do the next” games
3. putting on musicals for the neighbours. I think they would last all of 4 minutes and consisted of the songs we wrote singing into the fan plus costumes, dancing and a sheet for the set. But we charged 20c admission. It was always about the money…clearly…
i don’t have many favorite ones. there are many i’ve tried to forget. being the youngest and the only girl was an interesting experience.
i remember being locked in closets when they were supposed to babysit me. yeah, good times.
crystal – BWAHAHAHA!!! that’s almost like David and his hiding in cabinets… except HE wanted to do that… and you didn’t.
I should mention that my sisters and I used to hide in wardrobes around the house when we were young too, so I was well versed in how to do this when it came time to reprise the effort years later…
It was always voluntary though, so I’d be lying if I said I felt your pain Crystal. Hiding in closets/cabinets/wardrobes/cupboards was good times in my childhood
Oh goodness gracious. That should be a whole post itself!
helen… you should post about yours. So should, renee. i wonder if we’d all come up with different stories to the SAME event.
hmmm…
Our family every summer loaded up our camper on to our truck and went to national parks all over the place, me and my brothers always rode in the back of the camper and wrestled around and listened to metallica and played cards…good times
