My brain does not seem to be functioning linearly today… so, I’m just gonna punch my thoughts out here as they come.
HOLLA!!!
- Paxton is SO cute in footy pajamas. I don’t ever want him to grow up.

- why does the smell of bacon linger in the house for SO long?
- i have some really amazingly constant and generous friends.
- i’m thankful how invested my in-laws are in our family.
- i don’t miss having a job, but I sure do miss the income that comes with it.
- LOVED my sweet friends’ post today, but don’t understand why some people justify living untruthfully.
- i’ll be 32 in 4 days.
- i forgot how old i was gonna be till just about 12 seconds ago.
- we haven’t subscribed to cable/dish/anything tv for over a year now. i haven’t missed it.
- there may be something wrong with my right eye. the world seems blurry out of there more often than not.
- Brian and I get to go to El Paso to visit Paseo in a week and 2 days.
- my kids produce more buggars in their nose than ALL of Chance’s kindergarten class. i’m sure of it.
- the last time i saw a dentist was 5 years ago. is that bad?
- oh, where is my hairbrush?
- why do kids like Elmo so much?
- i think the avatars/fb profile pics people choose for themselves show a lot about their heart.
- there are 328 photos sitting in my camera right now. hmmm…
- one of my biggest fears is that God would send our family to live in a place without indoor plumbing.
- i’m positive you are judging me for that last floating thought.
- i’m okay with that.
- another fear i have is getting a turkey neck with age.
- i’d like to invent some sort of sponge-like apparatus that gets rid of water-retention & bloating.
- moment of honesty: i’ve been on strike from church… but i think i’m ready to un-strike soon.
- pretty sure you’re not supposed to see the stainless steel in pots & pans that have teflon.
- one of my daily prayer requests is for God to sustain the life of my washer and dryer. seriously.
- i’m pretty sure you’re judging me for that last one too.
- favorite inventions: burt’s bees lip balm, clorox wipes & duct tape.
- the show nip/tuck terrifies me.
- but i’d like to nip/tuck the bags under my eyes… permanently.
- when Paxton says “sit”, it sounds like “s*it”. i laugh E.V.E.R.Y.T.I.M.E.
- i’m starting to think it may be easier to embrace my muffin top than to work it off.

No random thoughts but would like to hear more about you being on strike from church.I’m on strike from my church’s worship services and would like to hear your story. It might not be something you can share but if you can..
nothing tragic. i’ve been in a paid ministry position for 8 years. when i got let go a few months ago, i realized how very tired and burned out i was. so… i’ve been taking advantage of not HAVING to go to worship service during the summer (though we have been church hopping every now and then).
i guess it was more like my sabbatical

1. I’m curious about the whole avatar thing too. I think it’s funny when someone has a sassy avatar pic and then tweets something sassy, it’s like that’s the precise face they were making when they tweeted it.

as for your avatar… i’ve rarely seen an avatar of you actually looking INTO the camera. you’re usually looking to the side or have your eyes closed (your current one). either you really would rather show your side profile or you don’t want people to look into your eyes. however, all your pics always show a smile… joy… contentment. it looks like whatever you’re looking at, you’re looking at it glass half full vs. empty.

Usually I’m looking into the sun. I have seriously light sensitive eyes. That evening my husband was trying to be sensitive and have me stand facing away from the sun. Still sensitive. Plus if I was facing the sun the back drop would have been Home Depot.

so… i’ve noticed all your avi’s are about your eyes. at least that where my attention is drawn to. your head is always tilted in one way or another. your gravatar has your chin tilted down. this tells me you’re emotional or somewhat wear your emotions on your sleeve. you’re easily cheered up, annoyed, saddened, and so empathetic to others. but in your “tilting”, you may also be hiding yourself from the world. i think though you want to have a tight-knit community around you, you’re cautious because your fear of being hurt or judged is driving you.

Here are my random thoughts from your post:
1. 5 years is nothing! I haven’t been the dentist in at least 10. I have an appointment in a few weeks; I’m a little scared of what they might find to be honest.
2. I lifted weights today for the first time in a couple of weeks and now everything hurts. I mention because my triceps are pretty noticeable as I am maneuvering around this laptop to read and respond to this post (random but that’s what you asked for)
3. And or course, I want an avatar reading too cuz I’m curious what mine says about me too.

your face is gentle. compassionate. empathetic. honest. your head is tilted in a carefree way… i think you can roll with the punches pretty well and are quick to adapt to change. the smile on your lips is much bigger than the smile in your eyes. your eyes are holding back. not sure if it’s more for self-protection or if you’re just tired from giving yourself. also, this pic is the one you’ve used since i’ve met you. is this the only “side” you feel comfortable showing of yourself?
