Meeting Chance’s PreSchool Teacher
I feel as if I’ve graduated from something after meeting with Chance’s FIRST school teacher.
She is totally awesome! I’m so looking forward to her working with Chance this year. She sent us home with paperwork and homework.
The paperwork was for me: Immunization forms, enrollment completion, emergency contact, blah blah blah.
Homework was for Chance: she sent home a picture she had drawn about herself. Her family, things she loves (like Starbucks), and what she did this past summer. Chance’s homework was to do the same thing. After I explained it all to Chance, this is what we ended up with.
I promise I didn’t put him up to any of this. He colored/scribbled in colors HE chose, then told me what they were… so I wrote it down.
My son ROCKS!

What a great and creative teacher. I’m sure Chance will enjoy this year — and you will enjoy watching him learn and grow.
I asked a co-worker’s preschool son, what he did in school — and he communicated “opening ears” and listening to music. His face lit up with the memory of what he was learning.

Oh…I hate to be the one to point this out, but “Mommy” is definitely bigger than anything else on that page–including Disneyland…

yeah… not only am I the largest on the picture, but apparently my belly is detached from me since his baby brother is on the opposite side of the page.
I guess I’m just all over the place in his mind.

That’s so sweet.. Jason is doing home visits this week too meeting all 12 of his new students and their parents in their homes. Sometimes I wish Jason could just be Chance’s preschool teacher.
