Moldova: 17 Days

I haven’t written in a long time, so I wouldn’t be surprised if you didn’t know I was going to Moldova in 17 Days. A group of nine women from all over the United States (and Canada, eh!) are teaming up together and traveling overseas to work with young girls (ages 8-16) who have been rescued from sex trafficking. To catch up… simply CLICK HERE to read the newsletter I sent out back in September.

For those of you who sent in money to help fund my mission… THANK YOU! I am humbled that you’ve chosen to partner with me on this great opportunity.

I thought I’d take the time to list all the ladies traveling with me. If you would please partner with me in prayer over the whole Moldova Team, I would be ever so grateful. We ALL would. I’ll also list everyone’s twitter handles & blog links so you can follow us as we travel if you’d like.

Here we go:

I created a public list on Twitter of this whole team HERE. Feel free to follow as you’d like.

Please pray:
For us.
For the the young girls who will undoubtedly change our lives.
For our families while we’re away.
For our safety.
For our pilots… and making ALL our connecting flights.
For the work we will do in Moldova.
For God’s Hand to be present.
… and for jet-lag.

    Excited.

Also…….I may have started packing. Come on 17 days….I need to make sure everything fits in the suitcase.

    • jenni January 3, 2013 at 10:20 pm #

      of course you have. hahaha!

      • Makeda January 4, 2013 at 6:20 am #

Well I haven’t started packing but the suitcase is out and I’m throwing things I will need in it as I think of it. Gonna see if I can pull of the travel light thing but I’m highly doubtful at this point :)

It’s winter in a frozen land……there is no such thing as packing light.
