My First Song
Going through all our old boxes from moving has proved to be quite a nice walk down memory lane.
I found the first song I ever recorded from over 10 years ago. Brought back memories of the who I wrote this with (my best friend at the time, Nick Mullin — Nicky… I miss you, man!), what I wrote it about and WHY I wrote it. Amazing how the words still connect with where I am in life now. Some things never change.
Checkity check it!

I think that demo is why I married you, can’t quite remember for sure though. Seriously, I love hearing you sing, especially songs that really match your deepest feelings.

I finally got here. Worth the wait too.
And since no-one has answered your question…
The first song I wrote, as you may recall, was when I was 4 and it was called Rock A Bye Bra.
If you or anyone else can tell me what it’s about I’ll be eternally grateful as it sounds like complete gibberish to me…
