Brian and I had decided to re-arrange our living room and office a while back.
We finally got it done today in less than two hours.
Here’s the BEFORE:
And now… the AFTER:
We just swapped the rooms. Before, when you came in the house, the first thing you saw was our home office. Not all that welcoming. Now, the first thing you see when you come in is the living room… comfort. HOME.
It’s just a little change for us. A small change… but it was change we decided on together. Every little thing like this feels good now… because Brian and I are doing it TOGETHER.
Sometimes you just gotta re-arrange stuff to make it YOURS.
My favourite part of the rearranging is Paxton obscuring the bookshelf
Paxton’s in the “before”, so Brian just thought it would be appropriate if he was in the “after” too. It’s kinda like “Where’s Waldo”… but with a really cute halfie baby.
Looks like a great swap! It looks like Paxton is scaling a wall, with an arm harness.
I was just about to say that the “Where’s Baby Paxton?” is the best part!
It’s so funny that Paxton got in the after picture like that. I was holding him around the corner and I suddenly had an idea to let him peak out and maybe get in the picture.
Jenni snapped the picture at the perfect time then busted up laughing. When I saw it, I realized how perfect it was. He is scaling the wall, unsupervised, while Jenni gets her “OCD” fix.
Great Idea to move things around, I totally love it.

OH I LOVE IT!!!! It is all a lot more open and inviting. and your offices are nicely tucked away. very nice. now, i have to come visit again. dang it. i mean, hooray!
