Beach Trip – Day One

Our good friend, Angela, invited our family to join her and her kids at her family’s (her Mom’s, actually) beach house for the next few days.

We walked in to see THIS:

I can’t believe I got such good clarity of the sunbeams in this photo since I took it with my iPhone.

It’s been less than 24 hours since we’ve been here and we already feel like some of the weight that has been “resting” heavily on our shoulders has been lifted.

What is it about getting away that allows you to breathe?

At the Beach

I’ll post pics later… but I just wanted to report that at this very moment, Brian and Matt are down at the beach with the kids.  Jenn and I are sitting that the kitchen island with our Macs.
