The Shack

The_shack
I finished reading The Shack by William P. Young last night.  It has got to be one of the best books I’ve ever read.

Karen insisted that I read it because she loved it so much.  Since it seems that she and I are twins separated at birth, I figured I’d love it as much as she did.

People – get out there RIGHT NOW and buy this book.  It is the best depiction of the Trinity I’ve ever read.  Not only that, but it helps break down how a loving God could allow such evil to happen in this world.  More specifically… how He could allow evil to happen to believers.

I cried.  I laughed.  I was reminded that God is ALWAYS with me.  I praised God.

I’m still praising God!

Have you read it?  What did you think?

I’ll read that if you’ll read the 2nd half of the Old Testament for me. :)

I was hoping to finish it last night…but I still have three chapters to go. That’s cool that you read it too, I guess it’s going to be a pretty popular book. I agree with what you said about the description of the trinity, but I’m really struck by how well it explained the problem of pain.

Three chapters to go, I wonder how it will end? I’m guessing in the end God still loves us…;)
