I am SUPER tired right now.
After the 24 hour trip to Seattle (to clean and organize my Mom’s garage… I’ll write a post about it tomorrow), getting home at 12:30am this morning, THEN leading worship in the morning AND small group tonight… I am officially pooped OUT! So, I’ll make this short and sweet:
Today’s Sunday Setlist:
- All We Need – Charlie Hall
- Enough – Chris Tomlin
- Our Great God – Mac Powell & Fernando Ortega
- You’ll Come – Brooke Fraser
- Desert Song – Brooke Fraser
- Lead Me To The Cross – Brooke Fraser
- From the Inside Out – Joel Houston
Apparently, this morning was a Brooke Fraser type of morning. But it was because one of my BFF’s, Holly, came to lead with me. I LOVE singing with Holly. She helps make leading worship effortless!
We recorded it so once I have time to load it, I’ll share it with you here!

Love Brooke Fraser! Her songwriting is fantastic and her voice is captivating. Great set. We played Inside Out today also!
I got to lead worship today, too, for the first time since Christmas! Oh, the things we take for granted. A month ago, ain’t no way I was going to be singing. My own worship confessional?
!: Those Who Trust, by 100 Portraits and Water Deep
@ Salvation is Here, by Hillsong United
3 God Is In Control, by Twila Paris
4 Plant My Heart, a song I’d written based on Jeremiah 17:7-8
and 5 ‘Tis So Sweet To Trust in Jesus
One of those times where I really had fun declaring our trust in God, especially in these days where there’s so much fear going over the airwaves and our computer screens.
I was with a bunch of crying kids…good times though!
Yay for Brooke
As for my Sunday, you can visit my blog and have a look yourself…new address: http://www.shapingthespace.net
Fave song in your setlist…hard choice, but I think From The Inside Out, or Lead Me To The Cross, or…!!!
We are learning “You’ll Come” at our Friday Night practice this week! I love Brooke’s songs, good stuff.
Great set list. I’m a big fan of Brooke!
Sounds like you all had a great time!
Thanks for sharing.
Nice set list! Good choice of songs.
yeah… I LOVE Brooke Fraser – probably because it’s all in girl keys, but man, she’s an amazing songwriter.
