Overflow tonight was pretty close to flawless.

Tyler covered for me on the platform tonight as worship leader since I was in L.A. with my hubby. You can check out Ty’s post about tonight HERE.

It was obvious that students were worshiping tonight. You could just feel it. When I’m on the platform, I can’t hear the room as well since I have in-ear monitors in. It was a nice change.

Then, Mike came up and talked about “The Lost Things” – lost coin, lost sheep, lost son. He drove it home that GOD is searching for us… for me. Do we want to be found?

Allie sang “Hungry” after that, and it was beautiful.

I have to say, it was really nice to be a part of my tech team tonight. This is a rare treat for me.

As the Director of Student Worship, I usually end up on the platform singing behind my guitar or keyboard… but I equally enjoy being behind the scenes. I love seeing it all come together.
