Jenni - My wife calls it the "zone". On Sundays, I just am running. Second to arrive (after our pastor) and second to last to leave (just before our pastor). I pretty much collapse in the afternoon...I try to avoid driving to lunch!

I will pray for you - I have been trying to do better myself. It is hard - we desire to play skillfully and Satan would like the complete opposite! Enjoy your week off. Blessings!

now this, my friend is good stuff.
We have been church planters for 4 years...3 plants in 4 years, to be exact.
and my confessional: I HATED blasted sundays. Yep. I'm not a morning person, so waking up early, setting up and putting on a happy face was not my rendition of "Mornin' Jesus, I'm here".
Now that we're transitioning out of "Vocational Ministry" and into another unknown territory of whatever comes our way...we actually have been attending a Messianic Temple for something of a change. Hence...no blasted sundays. Now that is what they call a compromise.

Sunday went fairly well. At first I had some residue of the heaviness I was feeling on Saturday, but declaring who God is and who we are in Him helped to slowly lift that off. I did several songs I hadn't done before, and people seemed to have been ministered to by their lyrics. And no silly accidents like the last time I led worship. LOL. It actually went quite smoothly. And my set list?
1 Desert Song by Brook Frazer :)
2 Nothing But the Blood by Matt Redmond
Mighty to Save by Hillsong *Is that a Joel Houston song?*
4 Who Am I by Casting Crowns
5 I've Seen I Am by Jonathan David Helser
6 Blessed Assurance by Fanny Crosby

Loved your description of the visitors. Nothing blesses like seeing the people that you minister to each week.
